Responsibilities:
Overseeing financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and budgets for DiMarco Group/Shared Services.
Managing cash flow and ensuring effective cash management practices for DiMarco Group.
Developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Collaborating with internal and external auditors to manage the audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Guiding financial decisions, assessing financial risks, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
Participating in the development of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
Managing relationships with financial institutions and other key stakeholders.
Leading and developing a strong finance team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship for their professional development.
Contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization by providing financial leadership and strategic insights.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
A master's degree or CPA certification may be preferred.
Extensive experience in accounting, financial management, and leadership roles.
This may include prior experience as a senior financial analyst, finance manager, or similar positions.
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and senior management.
Experience in managing and developing a team, providing leadership and guidance to finance professionals.
Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Proven track record of managing financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management in a corporate or similar setting.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
