Job Title: Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Department: Finance
Reports to: Business Manager
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Schedule: 8:30am-5pm, M-F
SUMMARY
A highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual is sought for a full-time Accounts Receivable position.
The appropriate candidate will be a self-starter with a willingness to learn and pursue excellence.
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator (ARC) supports the department of Finance and Foodlink as a whole by assisting with financial reporting, enforcing fiscal controls, and customer relations.
The ARC is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all accounts receivable functions.
Financial experience and strong customer service skills are essential for this position, as are confidentiality, discretion, judgment and attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounts Receivable Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding billing and collections questions and work closely with the Member Services Department and program staff.
Review payments received for accuracy/completeness and investigate account discrepancies; post received payments into accounting software to correct customer.
Manage accounts receivable aging report, including all charts, graphs and analysis.
Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status regularly.
Monitor accounts with open balances and take action to collect payment in conjunction with program managers including senior leadership.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and process authorized payments or adjustments to invoices.
Support the development and training on policies, procedures, and documents related to accounts receivable May perform other duties associated with accounts receivable.
Financial Support Provide general financial and administrative support including scanning checks for deposit, assisting in tracking donations and revenue, entering receipts in accounting system, etc for Foodlink, Inc and all related entities.
Reconcile revenue sub-ledgers to the general-ledger, resolve differences and develop reports for management, as assigned.
Provide administrative support; complete company related returns and reimbursements, assist in annual audit and budget process.
Other duties may be assigned based on company needs.

Preferred candidates will also have: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study with 2-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Will consider an entry level person if the person has the right skillset Proficiency in use of software application, databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and basic office math skills required.
Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines, requirements, and priorities to complete work in a timely manner and within established deadlines.
Friendly, customer-oriented personality and ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
Ability to operate electronics, photocopier or other standard office machines, perform routine alphanumeric filing tasks, and perform basic record keeping and tabulation tasks.
A keyboarding rate of 40 words per minute is required.
Fluency in English required.
Knowledge of Spanish helpful.
SALARY AND BENEFITS This is a full-time position paid on an hourly basis, with a pay range of $20.
45-$22.
42 (DOE).
