Accounts Payable Specialist

*Main Ford General Supply Company is the leading supplier in food equipment and supplies in the Western New York area with showrooms in Rochester and Buffalo.
The company supplies commercial food equipment to western New York schools, hospitals, grocery stores, businesses and restaurants.
The corporation is 67 years old, well established, progressive and very profitable* *MUST HAVE A MINIMUN OF 3 YEARS ACCOUNTS PAYABLE EXPERIENCE* _*JOB REQUIREMENTS:*_ * 3 Years of strong Accounts payable Accounting experience * Experience with Business Accounting Systems * Computer proficient * Ability to prioritize work * Must have Strong Attention to Detail * Must be able to work well with others *RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:* * Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment * Processing of vendor invoices * Obtaining authorization for payment of vendor invoices * Trouble shooting and follow up on AP invoicing * Writing of corporate checks * Reconciliation of corporate credit card accounts The ideal candidate will have extensive accounting experience and solid communication skills.
