Now hiring for a part-time Community Driver.
Essential Job Functions Include: Transportation of seniors in the community and Residents of FBH via Elderbus to various appointments or to meet shopping needs.
When necessary, refuel using gas card, before returning vehicle.
Secure wheelchair if used in Elderbus van.
Operate the lift as needed.
Assist passengers on and off bus.
Escort passengers to and from door as needed.
Additional duties as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator.
Requirements: · Minimum high school diploma or equivalent · Experience with geriatric population preferred Qualifications: Valid NYS Driver License.
Must be available for occasional Weekends.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodation may apply.
) Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, visitors, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, etc.
under all conditions and circumstances.
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
