Picture is of actual item as you see it.
Removed from service in working condition.
I got it for a project - never touched it, never had the time.
Right now sold as is.
I fully expect it works.
It was removed from service as part of an upgrade.
I will update this post if time allows for me to do testing.
If I test it, I will adjust price depending on results.
Designed and marked as 7W in, 60W out.
Covers 150.
8 to 162.
0.
Possible to modify for higher or lower frequency or broader range, I never tried.
It may just do broader frequency range as is now.
Motorola hardware from this generation was commonly very conservatively rated as far as power out and duty cycle, Not unusual for gear of that day to readily be adjusted to higher power, broader frequency coverage, probably work or adjusted to work for frequency away from what originally designed, within reason.
This one is stock.
Have seen this specific model adjusted with range broadened 142 to 162, and with power to 100 out.
Has very clearly marked RF in, RF out, power plus, power minus.
I do not have a power connector for it.
Looks like straight blade type connection, relatively easy to made something work for this.
Historic note, I understand it was common (not required) in this era for this model/type amp to be used with Converta-Com Mobile Radio Console w/ mic and speaker (it allowed drop in convenience for a hand-held to make power, antenna, speaker, mic, amp connections very easy).
To be clear selling only what is shown in the photos here, I do NOT have a Converta-Com Mobile Radio Console w/ mic, speaker, antenna available.
Meet in person.
