Lippes Mathias is seeking an associate with four to six years of experience to support the Firm’s Environmental and Renewable Energy Practice.
Our environmental and energy practices are nationwide in scope, with sophisticated clients that include developers, financial institutions, energy companies, manufacturers, private equity funds, Indian tribes, state agencies, and municipalities.
The ideal candidate would have litigation and/or regulatory experience l on matters concerning federal and state environmental laws, environmental permitting, renewable energy development, environmental due diligence, environmental enforcement actions, and contaminated properties.
Strong and effective analytical, writing, and overall communication skills are required as this position includes a significant amount of direct client contact.
Excellent academic credentials, as well as prior environmental experience and experience in one or more of the above focus areas are a must.
A New York bar or Washington, D.
C.
license is required.
Salary range DOE: $105,000-$130,000/year
The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for.
Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
