Hi there :) here’s some info one thing up front is her rehoming fee is $1,500 NON negotiable.
More than fair for a macaw and these birds can’t just go with anyone.
I get that out of the way first so if you are still serious about her we can go from there.
Here’s her story.
.
She is a wonderful bird but does pluck majority of her chest and back.
She has done this since her previous home where they had her all her life and has not stopped with us even though our house is quiet.
Shes only noisy when she wakes up and if she’s hungry or just wants you to come in and say hi.
She doesn’t scream all day which is a plus since most macaws are very very vocal! She will step up for you but does not like her back touched her head she doesn’t mind.
She will not come with her cage you will need to
Have your own as we paid over 2 grand for it and are keeping it.
I would love for her to go to a home that knows the nature of a macaw and what they need.
She’s not a picky eater , so whatever food brand she will eat it.
She does like some greens and chop.
She is a cross between 2 separate macaws so we aren’t for sure which kinds.
She’s petite because she’s a female but still a good size so she needs a cage appropriate for that! She loves to be out and on a stand and if you let her she will stay out all day or on top of her cage but as soon as you put food in, she will want to go back in :) please message with any questions but please note the rehoming fee will not change so in a kind way please don’t waste our time.
She deserves the world!
