*Position Summary:* Are you a detail-oriented Leasing Agent looking for a transition into a corporate setting with a focus on affordable housing compliance? We're hiring a Leasing Agent for Affordable Housing to handle compliance matters while leveraging your expertise in leasing for a broader impact within our organization.
*Key Qualifications:* * Minimum of three (3) years of experience or equivalent education in property management.
* Proficiency in low-income funding programs and property management/accounting software.
* Strong analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and identify trends impacting the organization.
*Responsibilities:* * Lead annual recertifications ensuring compliance with state and federal funding programs.
* Conduct comprehensive staff training for program requirements.
* Manage property document forms, ensuring accuracy in our property management software.
* Ensure compliance requirements are met for audits within the portfolio.
* Review and communicate established funder requirements to staff effectively.
* Monitor and renew AFHMP plans as needed for continued compliance.
* Compile and evaluate occupancy rating reports for financial performance assessment.
* Share monthly vacancy reports meeting AFHMP requirements across the portfolio.
*Working Conditions:* This role offers flexibility in hours and involves on-site visits to residential and commercial properties.
A valid driver's license and insurance are essential.
