Primary Responsibilities:
The Property Manager is a critical position to our success as a company.
The ideal candidate will be the main contact point for our residents and is expected to maintain our outstanding customer service track record.
The person in this role builds our customer service reputation by handling rent collection and lease renewals.
This position will require excellent organization and time management skills to exceed expectations for our residents and owners.
As a Property Manager, your primary responsibilities include:
Ensure monthly occupancy and delinquency goals are met
Negotiate lease agreements and complete all necessary documentation
Oversee maintenance and apartment planning & preparation
Manage late notices and evictions as required on delinquent rents
Source new tenants and showings
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to legal requirements are reinforced
Superior communication skills, collaborative with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Work well in a team-oriented environment and analyze decisions with broad perspective
Results oriented leader with high level of self-motivation
Must be enthusiastic, creative and able to think both strategically and tactically
Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
Strong customer service skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Internet applications and related software
Demonstrate effective and efficient decision-making skills
What You Bring to Us:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to travel to properties throughout the Rochester region, spanning from Canandaigua & Farmington to Greece.
Sales oriented
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong organization and communication skills to lease apartment units
Strong customer service and office skills; detail oriented
Ability to manage effective teams and develop strategic solutions
Must maintain confidentiality.
