Advance Auto Parts is a full service financial institution in Rochester, NY.
We provide retail and wholesale banking services, as well as investment and retirement products.
We are looking for a Cashier to take and maintain responsibility of all customer transactions.
Cashier duties include managing cash, credit and check balances, operating cash registers, and providing customer service.
The goal is to ensure the flow of transactions is smooth and efficient, and to ensure that the bank’s money is always in safe hands.
*Experience:*
* At least one year of full-service experience as a cashier or similar position
* Must be at least 16 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Basic mathematical skills
* Basic knowledge of banking procedures and practices
* Basic knowledge of financial products and services, including understanding deposit accounts
* Basic knowledge of financial markets and transactions
* Ability to perform basic computer tasks
* Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
* Ability to work cooperatively with others in an office setting
* Experience working with a variety of different types of customers (retailers) is a plus
