Assistant Produce Manager position may be the right position for you!
_What You’ll Do:_
Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you help oversee the day to day operations of the department and supervise the department team to achieve sales, gross profit and shrink goals.
You’ll help handle ordering, receiving, storage, processing, and merchandising of product; ensuring proper case/shelf and sales floor conditions and stock levels; and selection, training, development, and scheduling of produce associates.
[Job Requirements]:
_Skills/Experience Needed:_
Ideally, you’ll have previous related retail experience.
You’ll need to be friendly and courteous in order to provide excellent customer service, as well as the ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills and the ability to operate knives and case cutters, computerized scales, scan guns, baler/compactor, and pallet jack are important.
Assistant Department Managers will need to be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
