" _As a General Manager you will be responsible for the overall operational efficiency and staff development of an Ashley showroom or outlet location.

*What you will do:*
* -Complete all operational duties according to Company policies & procedures including completion of weekly scheduling, payroll, reviewing sales orders, sales commission adjustment reports and sales error reports
* -Provide store/employee feedback to Executive Management in order to establish store/individual improvement goals & succession planning
* -Coordinate & handle communication & closure to customer service issues & inquiries in the most timely & cost effective manner
* -Conduct motivating store meetings/ pre-shift line-ups.
Attending & evaluating Selling --Sales Manger line-ups covering hot topics, store goals & objectives
* -Ensure weekly location reports are current & results are reviewed with appropriate Sales personnel
* -Energize & motivate staff through positive communication & providing clear direction on delegation of responsibilities
* -Ensure the maintenance & presentation of the showroom location; including pricing, advertised events, merchandise & warehouse
* -Implement & maintain compliance to workplace safety standards & policies throughout the location
* -Administer all written documentation for adherence to policy, procedure, & counseling's for the progressive disciplinary process & performance reviews for all employees at the location.

* -Ability to educate & motivate employees & establish & maintain effective working relationships
* -Must be able to lift, scoop, bend, push or pull up to 75 lbs.
(with assistance) in manual demonstration of merchandise
* _-Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, & holidays_
* -Prior commission sales experience or management in a commission environment, preferred
